Hong Kong Disneyland Tickets and Pricing

While preparing for our trip, I decided not to buy attraction tickets in advance. I wanted to be in Hong Kong first, so I could check the weather before deciding whether to go. The season was transitioning into the rainy period, but it didn’t rain much during our visit. I ended up buying tickets the night before via Klook. Here’s a breakdown of what we spent.

Ticket TypeAmountQuantityTotal
Regular₱4,4562₱8,912
Senior/Child₱3,3512₱6,702
TOTAL415,614

There were packages and special offers, such as early-bird and meal-included options, but we opted for regular tickets since we were traveling with a child and an older adult. We wanted things to be as simple and flexible as possible, not running around because we have to be there at a certain time.

  • Transfer to the Tung Chung Line (Orange Line) toward Tung Chung.
  • Get off at Sunny Bay Station.
  • Transfer to the Disneyland Resort Line (Pink Line) — the cute Disney-themed train with Mickey-themed windows and handles.
  • Get off at Disneyland Resort Station.
  • Walk about 5–10 minutes to the park entrance of Hong Kong Disneyland.

Fast food and Outside Food Allowed

On the scheduled day of our Hong Kong Disneyland visit, we decided to grab breakfast first at a popular fast-food chain. My son and my mom both need to eat before we set off on our adventure, or we risk dealing with a bad mood all day. We also ordered several types of burgers to go, packed in a brown paper bag. Outside food is permitted inside the park as long as it’s ready-to-eat, non-smelly, not saucy, and doesn’t require reheating. We bought some drinks once we were inside.

Food TypeAmountPHP
Fastfood BreakfastHK$78₱612

💡 Tip: Having your own refillable water bottle will help you save on some drinks.

Choosing Souvenirs and Extra Expenses

We were scheduled to fly to Vietnam for 2 weeks after a week in Hong Kong, so we did not buy numerous and bulky items as keepsakes. My son got a turtle shoulder plush and a bubble maker wand, and I got a keychain. We brought our son’s foldable stroller, so we saved HK$150 on rental cost.

shoulder plushHK$99₱777
bubble maker wandHK$219₱1,718
keychainHK$139₱1,090

TOTALHK$457₱3,585

💡 Reality check: this is where costs can quietly add up. Everything is just so adorable, and if you don’t keep track in real time, you will end up with a huge collection of Hong Kong Disneyland plush, headbands, popcorn buckets, shirts, and more.

Was the experience worth it? Absolutely! At first, I was hesitant, thinking my 4-year-old son could be too young to enjoy it, my mom could be too old for it, and my husband and I might not appreciate it, as we are not die-hard fans of Disney. But after the experience, we all felt happy that we went. I was actually the happiest of us four – all smiles and still humming in the train on our way home. It was a “healing-my-inner-child” moment I did not know I needed until it happened. I was really happy I gave it a chance. It was worth every single cent. 🙂
